The Church teaches that parents are the primary and principal educators of their children. Because the Christian religion is not merely a subject in school, but rather a whole way of life, education in the faith begins in the home in the child’s earliest years. “Family catechesis precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in the faith.”

Since we are a University Parish for the students of Bowling Green State University, we do not offer parish-based religious education for students in grades K-12. Members of our parish family with school-aged children and teens can take advantage of the following helps to education in the faith:
St. Aloysius School

St. Aloysius Elementary and Junior High School provides the Bowling Green community with a high quality, faith-based Catholic education for students in preschool through grade 8. Members of St. Thomas More Parish are eligible to receive the same parishioner grant that members of St. Al’s receive.
